Wis.-River Falls is undefeated no more, and it was a familiar foil who handed the Falcons their first loss of the season.No. 7 Wis.-Whitewater turned back the No. 4-ranked Falcons 21-14 on Saturday at Ramer Field, creating a three-way logjam at second place in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football race.River Falls, Whitewater and Oshkosh are all 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the WIAC, one game behind Wis.-La Crosse (5-1, 3-0). LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society gathered as a community to raise money for blood cancer research and treatment. Their 60th annual Light the Night fundraiser anticipated over 2,000 people to walk the Siena College campus.Described as holding the fifth largest fundraising walks in the world, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has raised over one billion dollars since its start in 1949. ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues weathered through their second game of the season very similar to their first. Tight through three periods, stout goaltending paved the way to a shootout. This time around, for a win. The Blues defeated the Seattle Kraken in their home opener on Saturday at the Enterprise Center. The Blues won their fourth consecutive home opener. Former Blue Jaden Schwartz opened the scoring in the first minute second period, while Jordan Kyrou answered later that frame. Robert Thomas had the shootout winner. Two shot, one killed in St. Louis' Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood

ST. LOUIS - Two people were shot and one has died after a shooting Saturday evening in St. Louis' Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Gamble Street. Investigators say a 23-year-old man was fatally shot. From Israel to St. Louis: Couple’s journey home filled with hope for peace Police say the second victim was shot in the foot, though injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The age or gender of the other victim has not been disclosed. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the shooting.
